Your house is probably your biggest investment. Over time, dirt, pollen, mildew and green algae build up on the outside. It makes your home look older than it is, and if it’s left too long it can lead to costly repairs.
We clean the outside of your house with a low-pressure wash. Instead of blasting your siding with high pressure, we spray on a cleaning solution that does the work, let it sit, and then rinse it off gently. It’s easier on your siding, paint and trim, and it kills the mildew and algae instead of just knocking off the top layer.

Plan on clean windows too
A house wash will usually leave spots on your windows. We recommend adding at least an outside window cleaning. We can do both on the same day, or schedule the window cleaning after the house wash.

House Washing FAQs
Will my windows be affected by the house wash?
Most likely, yes. The spray can’t be aimed perfectly, and the windows will usually end up spotted. That’s why we recommend scheduling at least an outside window cleaning along with your house wash.
Will the pressure damage my home?
No. We use low pressure on your house. High pressure can crack siding, strip paint and push water behind the siding, so we don’t use it there. If anything ever looks like it’s causing damage, we stop right away.
What’s in the cleaning solution?
It’s a diluted bleach mix with a soap that helps it stick to the siding so it can kill the mildew, mold and algae. It only removes organic growth like mildew, algae and pollen.
What about my plants?
We water the plants around your house before we start, keep rinsing them with clean water while we work, and rinse them well again when we’re done.
Will it get every stain off?
A house wash removes dirt, pollen, mildew and algae. Some stains, like rust, oil or paint, may not come off all the way.
What about older homes or problems that were already there?
Cleaning can make some things easier to see. Faded or chalky siding may be more noticeable once it’s clean. Older homes are more likely to have windows or doors that leak, loose or peeling paint, or loose siding or trim. If you know of a window or door that leaks, please tell us ahead of time.
We’re not responsible for problems that were already there, like loose or peeling paint, loose or damaged siding or trim, outdoor outlets or lights that aren’t sealed, or leaky windows and doors.
How often should I have my house washed?
Most homes need a house wash every one to two years. Homes in the shade or under a lot of trees may need it sooner.
Do I need to be home?
No. As long as we can get to the outside of your house and use your outside water spigot, you don’t need to be there.
How do I get ready?
Please have your outside water turned on, move potted plants away from the house (or ask us to do it for you), and leave a parking spot as close to your home as possible. While we’re washing, keep your windows and doors closed and your pets inside.
What if it rains?
We do work in the rain, but we always err on the side of safety. If weather is an issue, we’ll contact you the morning of your appointment to make other arrangements.
