Residential Window Cleaning

Montgomery County, MD and nearby DC. Family owned since 1998.
Window cleaning is how Windows Only got started back in 1998, and it’s still the heart of what we do. Clean windows let in more light and make your whole house look cared for, inside and out.
We clean your windows inside and out, by hand and with a water-fed pole that uses purified water. Your screens get washed and your tracks get wiped every time. That’s always part of the job. No add-ons, and no nickel and diming.

Make the whole house shine
Think about adding a low-pressure house wash. Clean siding and clean windows together make your home look even better. We’ll wash the house first, then clean the windows, so you end up with no spots.
Ask us about a low-pressure house wash, power washing your driveway, patio and deck, or cleaning your roof.
Window Cleaning FAQs
What’s included? Do screens or tracks cost extra?
Every window cleaning includes the glass inside and out, washing your screens, and wiping your tracks, frames and sills. Screens and tracks never cost extra.
How often should I have my windows cleaned?
Once a year is the most common. Some customers like twice a year, spring and fall. Whatever works for you, we can set you up on a recurring schedule so you don’t have to remember to call.
How do I get ready?
Please move small, fragile or valuable items off your window sills and away from the windows. We can move furniture. Drapes and blinds only need to come down if they’re in the way, and most aren’t.
Do I need to be home?
We need to get inside to clean the inside of your windows, but you don’t have to stay home. Feel free to come and go during the day.
Can you clean just the outside?
Yes. We may still need to come inside to take out and put back screens that lock from the inside.
Can you clean just some of my windows?
Yes, we can do part of the house. We do have a job minimum. For the best results, especially the first time you use us, we recommend doing the whole house.
How do you reach high windows?
We use ladders and/or a water-fed pole, whichever is safest for that window. The water-fed pole is a long pole with a soft brush that uses purified water, so we can clean high glass from the ground.
Do you clean storm windows?
We can clean some storm windows. Let us know at your estimate and we’ll take a look.
Do you clean mirrors and chandeliers too?
Yes. We clean mirrors, chandeliers, inside and outside light fixtures, ceiling fans, and leaded and stained glass. We can also change high light bulbs (you just need to have the bulbs).
Can you remove hard water stains or scratches?
We can get some stains off, but not all of them, and we can’t guarantee it. Scratches, foggy glass and etching won’t come off with window cleaning. If we see any of these, we’ll point them out at your estimate.
What if it rains?
We do work in light rain, but we always err on the side of safety. If weather is an issue, we’ll contact you the morning of your appointment to make other arrangements.
